Tyco Integrated Security Core Values – Passion, Teamwork, Partnership


We’re very passionate about what we do and what we do is extremely important and that’s something that for our
business and our growth over the past year more more customers are becoming
aware of and embracing. Everyday it can be something new, sometimes it could be one of those mundane alarms but it could also be also something that saves a life. When we receive an alarm it comes directly to us and where the first
responders, we are the ones that are responsible for contacting the customer, we notify the
authorities, weather be a fire, medical, whatever the emergency. When
you’re in a bank you know the customers lives, you got panic buttons I mean just just customers that they have you wanna
have everybody feel secure while there you know going about their normal day. We
always want to make sure that customers are the top priority it’s great to be able to help people. At
every level at every touch point of our organization there is huge amounts of self
satisfaction and pride about what it is we do for the community,
what we do for businesses, what we do for government. Every opportunity that we have to
interact with the customers is an important one, so it really does start with the
sales process, with the installation, whenever we begin
to monitor their alarm we want them to be confident that we’re going to handle
those alarms in a timely manner and we’re gonna handle them exactly as
they would expect. And when they call us for a question or concern we want them
to speak to people that are professional and courteous and kind and so it’s our goal whether we’re
talking about their billing or about their monitoring or about a service need that they
receive the same consistent professional service regardless of who they interact with
within Tyco Integrated Security. I think the relationship between myself,
my internal customers and my external customers is very dynamic, It can be very
complex the times but ultimately it’s really about giving my team the
tools they need to be successful. Obviously it’s a big responsibility when you run
facilities that take care of the young; and when I look at that I look for
partners and that’s exactly what Tyco has been over the years, 15-plus and to be a partner stood side by side with me and obviously
we have experts in the industry the security industry who else would you
rely on? The relationship between Darden and Tyco is a very strong partnership, the
fact that we have individuals who are on site 24/7 it’s been a pleasure as well with them
to make them part of our team, they come to our team meetings, they’re part of our
daily interaction with their clients if something were to happen in one of my
restaurants, they have people that I know that are going to respond to
their needs, that are going to immediately take care of whatever it is
that’s going on in the restaurant and there’s that personal touch in a
personal relationship and it has resolved so many issues for
us. Having an onsite represented here for the
big customer really helps out, is a person that can
immediately answer the questions that you have
in is an individual that can really disect what’s going on
but they can also become a part of your company. For me it’s pretty simple is I believe and trust in the people I
work with and I partner with and Tyco its been that way many many years.
